Excellent article.

Giving your DNA to a commercial enterprise is the ultimate surrender of privacy. The worst are those that pander to fears of genetic susceptibilities to various diseases. This screening has not been subject to peer scrutiny in the medical community.

Caveat emptor!

I'd love to see all physicians post that in their patient waiting rooms.
I am SMH over social media's Christmas photos of people unwrapping DNA kits as if it were a "parlor game".
What is upsetting is that one person's report can be linked to others with the same family name unbeknownst to them. After someone submits a sample, a naive distant cousin submits a sample and BINGO!

Am I the only one who sees legal issues here? <- rhetorical question.
