Flash Player 9 No Longer Supported
« on: February 09, 2011, 06:39:17 PM »
As of February 8, 2011 Flash Player 9 is no longer supported. Adobe will no longer provide security updates for Flash Player 9 and recommends that all Flash Player users on supported systems upgrade to the most recent version of the player through the Flash Player Download Center.

Details here:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406791.html

The latest version of Adobe Flash player is 10.2.152.26

New versions can be obtained from  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
It is advisable to use the UNinstaller to remove previous versions before installing the new version: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe

Note: There us an ActiveX version for IE users, and a separate plug-in version for users of alternative browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc.).
