I would like you to try something. There is an extension here that allows you to download Youtube videos using chrome. I would like you to try and play a video, and then download the video and play it from your computer. Let me know how it plays both ways.

Don't quite understand how to do this.  When I click on the here I go to another screen, but I don't see any download other than it says add to chrome.  I get to this screen, what do I do?  How do I download differently than going to youtube?

I noticed the videos that run on the news sites   (MSN Videos)   are running off too.     You asked about my computer network earlier...I could get more speed from AT&T, but I don't want to upgrade to a higher price to get it.  Don't know if that shows or not on the info you have.

Do you know anyone with a fairly new laptop? I would like to see what a newer computer would do with your internet connection when viewing video's.

I think your problem is your internet speed. But we can test that. I tried to get you to use a chrome plugin to download a video with, but there is a standalone program that is easier. Please download the YouTube Video Downloader.  There is a big green download button on the left side just below the title YouTube Video Downloader. Once it is downloaded, go ahead and install it and then start it.

Now go to any video on Youtube that you want to watch and try watching it. Once you are done, in the browsers address bar copy the address. Now go to the YouTube video downloader and click on the paste URL button, then click the download button.

When it is downloaded there will be a play link in the URL entry. Click on play and let me know if it plays correctly.

I downloaded  the Downloader.  Went through everything, and the videos are playing correctly with the Downloader.

YouTube videos work, but news videos do not.  Not a YouTube program?

Different sort of streaming. But the test with the Youtube video, playing correctly when downloaded but not when just streamed, tells me that your problem is bandwidth related. There is nothing to be done without you getting more bandwidth.

So have I just run out of room?  Why is it different now than a few months ago?  How do I get more bandwidth?
