Do you have File and Printer sharing turned on in XP?

Is it working? If you don't mind telling us, what was the problem?

Thanks for the update, and you have accidentally found one of the fixes for networking problems. If you have issues with a home network, turn off all the computers, printers and other devices and then turn off the router and/or modem. Let them sit for a minute then turn the modem on, then the router then start the printers up and then start the computers. Generally that will fix any communication not happening issues. Speed issues are a whole 'nuther kettle of fish.
