Hi everyone. it's been awhile hope everyone is good. Facebook won't let me log in or either of my 2 browsers Chrome and Edge on my laptop but I can on my tablet. Cleaned my computer Ccleaner, Malwarebytes, etc. Can you help please. Posting a screenshot below of what shows up, Thank you any help appreciated.
Let's Check Your Device for Malicious Software
Hi Kitty, we're continuously working to keep your account secure. We've noticed that this device may be infected with malicious software. To continue to use Facebook, you can either use other devices or clean this device by downloading the scanner provided by Facebook and Trend Micro. then it has clean your computer and I did twice.

I am having this exact same problem with my Facebook account. I can not log in on any browser and every time I do try to log in, I am blocked and get a message about them wanting me to download software to scan my computer. I won't allow that. how do I get back into my account?

How can you email Facebook to resolve the issue?

Facebook does not do e-mail. Can you get a screen shot of the message that facebook gives you? Have you tried logging on from a different computer?

Whenever I try to log into my account via any browser, the screen has nothing on it except for a message appears in the center that claims I have a virus and "need to download some software for a scan".   Not doing that. there's no virus. I wasted several hours running scans yesterday with my anti-virus and several anti-malware programs. There's nothing.

I posted a screen shot

I don't know why they are trying to bully me into downloading some "scanning" software I don't need nor want. Unsurprisingly, family members have zero difficulty signing into their Facebook accounts on the exact same computer with no fake malware warning, nor demand to download and software "to check my computer". I checked my email and there is no message from Facebook regarding the reason for this and since I can't access my account, I can not otherwise contact them about it.

Something has happened while logged into your account that makes them thing you are infected. They will not let you back in until you run the scanner. The TrendMicro scanner is a legitimate scanner. If you have already found nothing thru other scans, this one will not either. The scan that is going to run is run from an online location, the software it is asking you to download is the interface that will allow the scan to run.
