Adding a CAPTCHA image
« on: April 13, 2013, 09:25:36 PM »
Hey, so recently, some "spam-bots" have gotten into my small business email and are sending out emails to my customers of spam messages.

So to fix this, I want to add a CAPTCHA image on my contact page. I've googled it and I'm such a noob.

They tell me to do this, and that, and some more of this... But i get lost and have no idea.

So can someone help me, break it down, step-by-step, for like a 5 year old to understand, how to add a CAPTCHA image to my contact page on my website?

I am assuming your contact page is only for sending you e-mail? It appears that someone has harvested your e-mail address and is using it in a spam bot. But if it is being sent to your clients, it is possible they have gotten your address book. What kind of e-mail (webmail or e-mail client) do you use, and who is your e-mail provider?
