Adobe Reader
« on: June 17, 2011, 06:53:35 AM »
Hi All,
I would appreciate if anyone could answer the following for me.

Do I need Adobe Reader on my pc ie are there other programmes including Adobe ones which are dependanton it being installed.
I ask this as it seems very slow, bloaty and resource hogging.
I have installed another reader Sumatra which seems to be fine for my needs. It appears to be very lightweigh, non resource demanding and opens like a shot.

God I really miss CastleCops.

Acrobat is a stand alone program. As far as I know nothing requires it to be installed. Foxit is another alternative to the Acrobat reader.
