svchost.exe - No Disk

when i am inserting a internet data card in my USB its showing error message that svchost.exe - No Disk There is no disk in the drive. please insert a disk in to driveDeviceHarddisk1DR5 cancel,continue, tryagain all the option is not working its again popuping out. :(  could system restore pointwill help? or its a problem with virus plz help.

Normally when you see a program complaining about No disk it is because it is looking for a disc that is not inserted or is in the wrong location. Can you still access the data card thru Windows Explorer? Are you having any other problems?

Dear Hoov,
Thanks for the response and coming forward for my problem. Ya I can still access the internet using the Data card. but the popup window is always coming and this window is not closing till i am unplugging the Data card. So the only way I am following is that I am putting the popup window asides and doing the work. Again I am unable to access other USB port when this popup Window is ON. for example when data card is connected and I am inserting a pen-drive my PC is not recognizing it.   

Initially this thing was not happening but I dont know how this error came. hoping you will help in this regard.

I misunderstood what you were telling me the device was. Is this a USB device that allows you to connect to the internet thru the cellular telephone system or is it a wireless adapter that lets you connect to a wireless router in your house?

 its a Modem where you can insert Mobile SIM access the internet. Its like plug and Play. and it need to be inserted in to the USB port for use. it reseives signal and exchanges datas through the mobile network provider tower., hopeing now you could understand.

For the time i am using McAfee anti virus genuine one. to get rid off this i also installed Avast antivirus also. i succesed some how. now this pop-up window is not coming. but i am seeing Desktop.ini files in many of my folders <which is of 504 kb  size> and if i am deleting it again it is coming back after reboot.

My system is also performing little slow. though i had fully  scanned my system with both anti virus (with updated version)

Desktop.ini are system files. They hold configuration information on how you want that folder displayed. Don't worry about them, they are supposed to be there, and as you figured out, when you delete them, windows will recreate it.

The slow system performance can be caused by several things. First you have 2 AV scanners. They will fight each other. It is best to get rid of all of them but one. Be careful of AV scanners that hid on other applications. Lavasoft AdAware has a virus scanner in it, for example. Also if your have a lot of temporary files that can also cause the problem (CCleaner from Piriform.com does this really well). These include leftover files from installers and windows update, internet cache files, log files etc. If you have taken care of both of those things, then you may want to try running chkdsk on your drive, and then defragging the drive.

If you follow my suggestions and it does not improve performance, then you may want to consider posting in the malware removal board just to make sure you have no malware slowing down your system.
