at this point today i've tried to open standard sites like yahoo that would give me pop up windows. so far nothing has popped up which is a good sign, ill continue to use the internet for the remainder of the day and respond tomorrow based on my results if thats ok. also on a side note, the scotty dog patrol thing detected a software update from "google" that was outdated on the copyright, it said copyright 2007-2009, i refused the software update and it hasnt asked since. im not sure if this is relevant or not but i figure i would let you know

OK, run the following to clean up again:

  • Download OTC by OldTimer and save it to your desktop. Alternative mirror
  • Double click icon to start the program.
If you are using Vista or Windows 7, please right-click and choose run as administrator
  • Then Click the big button.
  • You will get a prompt saying "Begining Cleanup Process". Please select Yes.
  • Restart your computer when prompted.
  • This will remove tools we have used and itself. Any tools/logs remaining on the Desktop can be deleted.
Are you now OK for me to close out your thread...

Regards,

Kevin
