Why computer crashes when I go to Googel Chrome?

I have Internet Explorer which seems to get bogged down everytime I go there so someone told me to download Google Chrome and I did but it has been crashing my computer and I have to shut it down and startup again. This has happend 2x with the blue page and all the writing on it about what to check which I have done. Also GC does not expand to a full page and I cannot see what is on the right or navigate it to center it or enlarge it. I like GC better than IE because it does not have pop-ups and runs faster. i use also use AVG.

hope you can help. I also get commerical pop-ups on Fb when on IE and don't on GC.

I suggest you uninstall Google Chrome if it is giving you problems and try either of the following excellent free browsers:

Firefox:  http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
Opera:  http://www.opera.com/download/

When something like that fails to work properly, and there are equally good alternatives available, it is usually far more time efficient to use one of the alternatives than try to debug complex software conflicts.
