Printer sharing in Windows Vista Home Premium

Hope this is the right place to start!!

Just added an HP laptop (Windows 7) to my network and cannot get my existing network HP Deskjet 1055 to share. The Deskjet is connected to a desktop:

Dell Inspiron 545
Intel Core2 Duo E7400 @ 2.8 GHz
6.00GM RAM
64-bit Operating system
Windows Vista Home Premium
Version 6.0 (Build 6002:Service Pack 2)

Checked many forums regarding this.
Some answers up front.

Checked these services:

SSDP Discovery
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
Server
Computer Browser

All running except Computer Browser.
When trying to start it, I get:

Windows could not start the Computer Browser service on local computer.  Error 1060: The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

Some more looking found these files are in question.
These files exist in windows/system32:
tcpmon.dll
tcpmon.ini
tcpmonui.dll
tcpmib.dll

Ran sfc /scannow. Got this:

I know this this is a basic question, but you have to start some where. Do you have file and printer sharing turned on?

Here is what I have in the Network and Sharing Center...

When trying to turn on:

Network Discovery -

File sharing-

Public folder sharing -
The specified service does not exist as an installed service

Printer sharing -
The specified service does not exist as an installed service

Password Protected sharing - currently on.

Media sharing - currently on.

Have you looked in the event viewer for related errors? If not,

I need you to go to the administration tools in Vista. They are in the Control Panel. Open the Admin tools, then open the event viewer. Over on the left hand side expand the window category and then click on  System. Then up at the top click on Action and then click on Save Events As, type in system as the file name,  make sure file type EVTX is selected, and then navigate so it will save the file to your desktop, then click save. Over on the left hand side and click on Application. Then up at the top click on Action and then click on Save Events As, type in application as the file name,  make sure file type EVTX is selected, and then navigate so it will save the file to your desktop, then click save. Zip them both up into a single zip file, post them back here in your next reply as attachments.

Ummmm...having a slight issues tried 3 times to upload loogs...kept getting:

Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

Then tried to end just one....got error that max file size is 750KB...

Each log is 20MB...Zipped, the system is 1.03MB and Application is 2.64MB....how can I make them smaller?

No. I have tried but cannot get it on....

No worries.  Are you trying to turn the printer sharing on thru the network and sharing center?

yes...on the Dell desktop....when i tried to turn it on thru the printer, i get the same service is not installed error

Two more questions, Have you tried the troubleshooter in the network and sharing center? Are you sure your computer is clean of malware?
