So 1.When I do the reinstall All of the other Junk will be gone?
  2. I wont need to Install all of the drivers after windows.Just the ones needed in Device manager?

Yes and yes. Actually when you delete the partition that windows is installed on, the other junk will go.  As for the drivers, I believe the drivers that windows already has for most of the hardware is already better than what Dell has. I made the mistake of using the Dell drivers the first time I installed windows 7, and I had problems right from the getgo. I just reinstalled windows 7 three days ago, and it is even more stable than the first time around. All I had to install was 3 drivers. And one was the touchpad. It already had the drivers installed, but no interface so I could turn the sensitivity down.

But that will do it.

Hello Hoov, I completed the reinstall of Windows & all seems to be working Good right now.I still have to Install all the other programs I had.But I do still have a Couple of Questions.
1.I never had to enter my activation key for Windows Yet.Is this Normal? I followed the instructions you gave me & unchecked.
2.How do you check the back ups before Installing? Is there a Way to do this?

For the activation key, most of the time with a Dell OEM installation disk you will not need to do that. Forgot to mention that.

As for checking the backups, once you have the computer the way you want it, then stick the discs in the drive and run a scan on them using your Antivirus and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

Did you manage to get all the updates done?

I will thanks very Much.By the way Is there a Good free Firewall you would recommend.I am not going to reinstall Mcafee.But I did like their firewall.Where you could allow full/Just Outgoing ,Block ,Or allow Once.Something For Win 7 64? Not sure If there Is a list here I will look.Thanks Hoov!

My personal recommendation is ZoneAlarm Free. If you like that version then the pro version is a firewall only but is more configurable. But we have a list of free firewalls here. I suggest to try a firewall and if you don't like it, try it another. It is more important to find one you like than one that I think is better. If you can't use it to do what you need to do, then it is not a good fit.

Wrong disc. That is the PowerDVD disk. The one with Dell Quickset on it is the driver CD. If I remember correctly if you select utilities on the left side, it will be one of two programs show up.

  Oh.That was brilliant! Sorry.But still not sure what I am Looking for here is the Image.Most of the other things below Yellow Line are Gif Images except for 1 text doc & monitor Application.I can look on Line & see also.I looked in the windows 7 folder on that disc & there are only 3 items  1 security catalog. a ICC Profile & 1 ST2010
