Cocoon has partnered with blekko for spam-free no tracking search. Anybody here use blekko?

I haven't used it. I just recently heard of it when I read in the "infoTECH" news, Lavasoft partnered with them about a month or so ago. Since you posted this, I got curious and tried it out.

It looks fine, returning what looks to be a carbon copy of exactly what google would return except there are no adds. What I also noticed right away is, there are also no WOT indicators...for me that is. So, for a user who wants to use WOT in connection with returned web links, it doesn't look like an option.

This is funny...I just noticed something else while testing out this "spam free, no tracking" search engine. I clicked on the news link on blekko's search engine page. From there, I get a bunch of news web links returned...ABC, MSNBC etc. Then, from there, on the left side of that page, there are other options you can click, related to the list of news web links. Among them is one titled Local. I clicked it, and this "no tracking" search engine returned all of my local news web links.

Obviously, not quite the same thing as "tracking" per se, and I'm sure perfectly harmless to the user that "blekko" search engine nevertheless, knows where you are. I just thought it was hilarious that a search engine hawking the "no tracking" aspect, offers you a host of web pages from your home town. Google, the info sharing guru, doesn't even do that lol

'Local' for me was a town with the same name in NH, 3200 miles away from the UK.
Seems blekko may be be tailored to the US only.

I gave it a quick try just now. I clicked "local" and while it came up empty, it did get (have) my zipcode.   :(     :i
This was tested in IE.
I'm gonna have to trim a lot of cookies.   And have a good mind to get Comodo Dragon browser for most everyday use (it's claimed that Dragon does not have the Google tracking overhead).
