Originally, I found Immunet reviewed by Michael Krebs at krebsonsecurity.com and the basic info was that Immunet was set up as a kind of clearing house for signatures that AV systems might not have caught up with. It worked in the background and did not interfere with other secuity programs. The 3.0 version just seems bigger and at one point a window came up noting that more than 100 programs had entered my space at one time. Since then, I have blocked the windows from coming up but wonder why a nice little addition has gone mainstream and now offers a paid service at $25 per year.
I wonder if I should do without Immunet and Yes there is a clamav in the package.
My main AV is MacAfee total protection which expires this summer and I am leaning to Avast and CC Cleaner to replace the 2 main functions that I use and keep MBAM and Secunia PSI.
Thank You for the q's and comments.
