If you have Adobe Flash Player on your system, be very sure it is currently updated. The latest version is 11.2.202.235

Affected software versions
•Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.233 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems
•Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.7 and earlier versions for Android 4.x, and Adobe Flash Player 11.1.111.8 and earlier versions for Android 3.x and 2.x

To determine the version you have installed, you may a) take a look via Control Panel >> Add-or-Remove Programs in XP, or Programs and Features in Vista & Windows 7
or b) visit this Adobe page  http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/

To de-install
Use Programs and Features (Windows 7 & Vista) or Add-or-Remove Programs (Windows XP) to de-install older versions of Flash Player.

For stubborn cases,
Download and save the Flash Player uninstaller >> uninstall Flash Player for 32-bit Windows<<

If you have Windows 64-bit, use this Flash Player uninstaller >> uninstall Flash Player for 64-bit Windows<<


Close all browsers and instant messenger (IM) programs.
Run the uninstaller.


To get latest Flash Player
Go to http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash
and get the latest Flash Player

Un-Check any checkbox for McAfee Security Scan Plus, or Google or any other widget or toolbar !!!

Advisory
Only get the Flash Player from Adobe and not any other source.
There is malware out there than can pose & maskerade as a flash player update.      So only get it from the real source.

I prefer using the uninstaller in all cases just to be sure there is a complete removal.
If you are using a 64-bit system, the 64-bit uninstaller also takes care of 32-bit on the system. The same is true for the installer for 64-bit.

* Install automatic updates
* Notify me when updates are available
* Never check for updates.

Summary
Adobe released security updates for Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh and Linux,
Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.8 and earlier versions for Android 4.x,
and Adobe Flash Player 11.1.111.9 and earlier versions for Android 3.x and 2.x.
These updates address vulnerabilities that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

Adobe recommends users update their product installations to the latest versions:
    Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh should update to Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257.
        Flash Player installed with Google Chrome will be updated automatically, so no user action is required. Google Chrome users can verify that they have updated to Google Chrome version 19.0.1084.56, which includes Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257.
            Users of Adobe AIR 3.2.0.2070 for Windows, Macintosh and Android should update to Adobe AIR 3.3.0.3610.

Windows users of Flash Player  who have selected the silent update option will receive the update automatically.
Windows users who do not have the silent update option enabled can install the update via the update mechanism within the product when prompted.
Beware any     pre-checked options to install unwanted software;  e.g.,  McAfee Security Scan Plus  !

To verify the version of Adobe Flash Player installed on your system, access the About Flash Player page, or right-click on content running in Flash Player and select "About Adobe (or Macromedia) Flash Player" from the menu. If you use multiple browsers, perform the check for each browser you have installed on your system.
