I ran the process explorer, went to the find tab and typed in winword.exe and nothing showed up.

Strange. Do you have Office 2010 installed on your computer?

Unfortunately no.  I have done a search for winword.exe from the start menu and hit enter and a blank word document opens.

I also went into programs and features and looked for a winword.exe file and didn't find that name or file

Then I ran the process explorer and it came up empty as well.

I'm sorry but I just can't seem to find it.

Well doesn't that just feel like a ton of bricks on my big toe. That was the file that the Acronis logs were pointing out. Let me do some digging.

Can you tell me what the full name of the Acronis product you are using?

Not sure if I posted the name of the back up software I'm using but it is called Acronis True Image Home 2010.

I must really have a problem.

Thanks,

Well I hate to say it, but I have no answer for this problem. I was going to contact Acronis and see what they said, but from there website it is impossible for a non owner to contact anyone but sales. I have found a few similar issues, but in every case the program causing the problem was actually installed on the computer. If you do contact them, make sure to send them the same xml file you sent me.

That was the last reoccurring problem in the event viewer logs.

Are you having any other problems with the computer, have any questions or concerns?

Nothing comes to mind for any other issues.  The other day I was having trouble again viewing online pdf documents so I downloaded Mozilla Firefox.  I still have IE 9 on my computer.  As long as this doesn't cause conflicts to have two browsers I will just keep both of them.  Do you see any issues with having two browsers on my computer?

Thank you very much for your help and have a great 4th of July.
