Wireless Access Pt does not find Internet thru Switch

After removing malware, we needed to reset and reassemble our wireless network-- one wired computer, DSL modem and a Linksys WAP54G Wireless Access Point all connected (supposed to be) thru a Linksys SD2008 Switch.
The problem is that I cannot connect to the DSL modem with the Access Point.  My wireless laptop can connect to the Access Point, but cannot find the internet thru the Switch.
The SD2008 Switch is an unmanaged Switch.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Does the DSL modem have more than 1 LAN slot? If so, plug the wireless access point directly into the DSL modem. Connect to the access point. Go to start > run > type in cmd > then at the command prompt type ipconfig /all > c:\list.txt . That command will create a log in c:\ called list.txt. Post the contents of the log in your next reply.
