download of internet exployer8 viruses

I ran kaspersky scan an found where the viruses where and then I ran combofix which quanitine them and removed them. I am asking you if I can remove them from the combofix quaintine by deliting them. how do I remove them. they are all system 32 files with protect.dll on them

First, I would like to tell you that using combofix without guidance can be a risky proposition. You should go to the hijackthis forum and post your original problem and what you have done. Also post the combofix log which can be found in c:\qoobox\combofix.txt . Don't delete any files until your system is clean. You may need them to do a repair of your system.
