Scared!!!!!

My computer, when I try to turn it on just goes to a blue screen with a mouse on it that's it..... it has a virus called "Trojan-Downloader-Zlob" I found a few hrs prior.  PLEASE tell me this isn't that ^ big of a deal. Seriously I'd die if I lost the contents of my computer...
