Spcmdcom.sys blue screen

Hi folks,

Sorry I haven't been able to help out but I need your help ... some sage advice. :)  I just got a blue screen that references spcmdcom.sys and relates to a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error (on an XP system if that makes any difference).  I goggled the file and get lots of references to malware that include automated fixes. When using the search facility here, I can find no reference at all. 

So what's the scoop?  Anyone here heard of it?  Are the automated fixes bogus?  Should I submit a HJT Log?

Thanks Hoov.  Got hit with the ThinkPoint hoax anti-virus as well (maybe related?) which made the account unusable. I was able to log in on the admin account and located both exe files in the %user%/Application Data account and deleted them both.  I will make sure that the registry is cleaned out as well.
