Wifi router as a wifi adapter?

Is there a way to use a wifi router as an adapter? I have a spare router and my wireless usb adapter went bad. Thanks!

If the router and the wireless access point (other router, or whatever) support bridging, then it should work. If your wireless access point is your ISP's radio, then absolutely.

Can you tell me what kind of internet connection you have, and if it is wireless from the ISP.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. I am running a training class all day, all week and am exhausted every night!

I have cable broadband and this is the wifi router http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=539 . I do not use the voip with this.
